Hoist the colors

The bright red scarf dangled loosely from her scarred neck. Her two chain necklaces clinked against each other lightly as she sang to the sea for her Captain. Her dear Captain. Her dad."

Just a scene from a story I'm writing. It was originally just going to be vent art but then I kept working on it.
